K-8268is Programmable video signal generator. It offers a total video signal test solution for Smart Panel and Multimedia video signal test. This generator has standard video regulation and standard TV signal outputs NTSC/PAL/SECAM/SDTV/HDTV/etext/V-chip/Closed Caption/Mediaplay function also fit into the multimedia display application for LCD TV, PDP TV, projector industries all over the world.
The Analog RGB (8MHz~250MHz) output is possible to support up graphic display to 4096X2048. Digital output (DVI - singlelink:25~165MHz, Duallink:25~260MHz) is up to UXGA (1600X1200). The TV output specifications for image and chromaticity of K-8268 meet the NTSC and PAL standards. For output interface, the BNC connector provides CVBS composite signal and the S-Video connector provides Y/C. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is all digital, audio/video interface standard, Especially, K-8268 is standard support HDMI V1.3b function, enhanced, or high definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. HDCP (High-babd width Digital Content Protection) is a specification to protect digital entertainment content across the HDMI and DVI interfaces. The HDCP function supports production Key encryption and is included on both HDMI and DVI outputs. This model has etext function, closed caption and V-chip, etext is generic name for a system of information broadcast as pages of text alongside the evision signal for PAL Systems. The Closed caption and V-chip for TV (NTSC). The ration MPAA for movie and USA TV are available for selection Closed Captions are captions that are hidden in the video signal. The V-chip is a standard for placing program rating information on a evision program. So that parents can be choose to filter what program their children can watch. In addition, it can be MEDIA PLAY which is avi/wmv/dvx/mpg and the possible by HDMI, YPbPr, Y/C, CVBS.
